A young boy has come forward with a heartbreaking account of how his parents were kidnapped by Fulani herdsmen while they were working on their farmland. The incident, which has since gone viral, has sparked widespread concern and discussions on social media about the growing insecurity in rural areas.
The emotional account was posted on X (formerly Twitter), where it quickly gained traction. In the video, the young boy, who appeared shaken by the event, was surrounded by villagers as he narrated the horrifying experience just moments after it happened. His testimony provided a chilling insight into the traumatic ordeal he had just witnessed.

As the video begins, the boy is seen being questioned by a concerned man, who asks him to recount what transpired on the farm. The boy struggles to hold back his emotions as he explains the terrifying moments leading up to the abduction of his parents.
He described the horrifying sequence of events:
“I was singing in the farm when they heard my voice. They came from behind my father. My mother shouted ‘Jesus!’ The kidnappers told us to be quiet. We agreed, and my mother began begging them. My father also begged, but they told us to keep quiet.”
As the boy continued his narration, he revealed that his father was shot by the kidnappers during the ordeal. The distressing details of the attack left viewers heartbroken, with many expressing outrage and calling for urgent government intervention to address the security crisis in rural areas.
Further reports indicate that the victims were later rescued after several days in captivity. According to sources, local vigilante groups launched a rescue operation after a ransom had been paid.
