A Nigerian man, identified as @Engr_Ashile on X (formerly Twitter), recently took to social media to express his frustration after making a shocking discovery regarding his online purchase.

According to him, he had ordered a Paudi Model car from an online store, expecting to receive a full-sized white crossover vehicle as shown in the advertisement.

However, upon delivery, instead of the car he paid N164,089 for, he received a tiny package wrapped in nylon, leaving him utterly disappointed and confused.

He shared a screenshot of the online advert displaying the image of the car he thought he was purchasing, alongside the parcel he eventually received.

Expressing his disbelief, he wrote:

“Dear Temu,

Na car I pay for oh, I want to believe say na my car documents dey here 🤦”

His post quickly went viral, drawing reactions from netizens who found humor in the situation while also pointing out a crucial mistake—he had actually ordered a miniature model of the car rather than a real, full-sized vehicle.

See reactions below:

@yungxix: “A little bit of reading would have saved you from this. Of course, in normal Nigerian fashion, too lazy to read.”

@360motion: “Your car will need Optimus Prime or Alupayida to transform.”

@omoiyaibeji_: “Open it first, egbon. It might need air to become what you ordered.”

@Dj_9teen: “It was clearly indicated in the description that it is a car model (meaning it’s a 3D representation of the car on a smaller scale). I’m sure you’re aware of that, you’re just catching cruise.”

@RasheedTorriera: “Na car seed. Plant am, e go germinate.”

His post, accompanied by images of both the advert and the delivered package, sparked an online debate on the importance of carefully reading product descriptions before making purchases on e-commerce platforms.
