A Nigerian man has raised alarm on social media after receiving multiple threats from an unidentified person, who demanded ₦4 million and threatened to assault his wife and daughter. The extortionist also warned that failure to comply would result in the destruction of his business.
The distressed man took to his X page (formerly Twitter) to share the terrifying experience, revealing that the anonymous individual contacted him through a menacing phone call and disturbing text messages. The caller warned of severe consequences if the ransom was not paid within 24 hours.
In his post, he attached a recorded phone conversation where the alleged extortionist made direct threats against his family, as well as a screenshot of the intimidating message he received.
The message read:
“Good day to the management of Thank Allah Oil & Gas Ltd. I just want to inform you that two women have provided your details. I have conducted thorough investigations, and for the past four days, my boys have been tracking you.”
“I ordered them to step back because I wanted to hear from you first. These two women have paid us to burn down your gas station and harm you. Call me within 24 hours. It’s Biggy Alale from Ojo.”
The victim, fearing for his safety, his family, and his business, reached out to the public for assistance in tracking the unknown individual.
