A young lady has recounted a horrifying and near-death experience where her boyfriend attempted to kill her by slitting her throat with a sharp knife she had sharpened earlier that day while preparing a meal.
The lady shared the chilling story in a post on the popular social media platform TikTok, leaving many people in shock and disbelief.
She did not reveal the reason behind her ex-boyfriend’s violent act, but she detailed the traumatic moment in which her life was nearly cut short.
According to her, she was inside her room when her ex-boyfriend suddenly entered and attacked her, using the same knife she had earlier sharpened while cutting a chicken.
She explained that he wasted no time in slitting her throat, leaving her bleeding and helpless.
Luckily, her landlord, whose room was directly opposite hers, unexpectedly returned home that night to change his shoes before heading out again. It was during this brief stop that he heard strange noises coming from her room and decided to check what was happening.
His quick response ultimately saved her life, as he intervened in time and prevented the situation from escalating further.
In her words: “My ex-boyfriend came into my room and slit my throat with a very sharp knife. I know it’s sharp because I had sharpened it earlier that day when I was cutting chicken.”
“My room is directly opposite my landlord’s room. Luckily, by God’s grace, my landlord returned home that night to change his shoes before heading out again. Before he could leave, he heard a commotion in my room and decided to check. That’s how my landlord saved me — he was God-sent.”
