Nigerian rapper and internet personality, Speed Darlington, has publicly expressed regret over his decision to invite street-hop singer, Portable, to perform at his show after being met with insults and harsh criticism.
It would be recalled that Speed Darlington had reached out to Portable, offering him a performance fee of N500K to grace his event. However, instead of responding positively, Portable lashed out at him, ridiculing the amount and asserting that Speed Darlington could not afford his services.
The controversial rapper took to social media to express his disappointment, stating that he deeply regretted ever contacting Portable in the first place. He lamented how his name was now being dragged into an unnecessary feud with the singer.
In his rant, Speed Darlington also referenced a past incident where Portable allegedly received a beating from a friend over an exploitation issue. He vowed to release video footage of the incident as a form of retaliation, intending to disgrace Portable publicly.
He vented his frustration, saying…
“Wetin bring all this insult, why did my mouth come into this guy’s mouth? If you no like N500K wey I price you, you for ignore me.”
