Reno Omokri, [/b]former aide to ex-President, has strongly criticized individuals who attend their school reunion parties flaunting their wealth, luxury cars, and expensive lifestyles.
Taking to his Twitter page, Reno Omokri questioned the intentions of people who arrive at such gatherings in a Bentley or wearing Rolex watches, arguing that such displays of affluence can be insensitive and even harmful to their former classmates who may not have experienced the same level of success.
Omokri described this behavior as cruel and argued that it could push some classmates into depression or even suicidal thoughts. According to him, school reunions are meant to rekindle old friendships and bring back fond memories, not to create a competitive atmosphere that highlights disparities in financial success.
He wrote;
“We know you are successful. But don’t go to your school’s reunion party with your Rolex and Bentley. It is just cruel! How do you expect your classmates who have not made it to feel?”
“Many of you have caused depression and even suicides by going to an occasion that is meant to bring back good memories only to create sad remembrances for your classmates.”
“Just show up and don’t show off. You don’t help, and you still want to oppress. What type of wickedness is that? You all started with nothing together. And nothing will follow you when you leave this world as we all must!”
