Reality star, Queen Mercy Atang, has fiercely responded to online trolls who have been targeting her marriage, revealing shocking messages that a lady sent to her husband’s direct messages.
Taking to her Instagram page, Queen Mercy Atang addressed those who seem determined to ruin her marriage, calling out individuals who have taken things too far by sending unsolicited messages to her husband.
According to the reality star, some trolls had entered her husband’s DM to issue warnings after she clapped back at them for their constant criticism.
Queen Mercy also disclosed that when rumors spread online that her marriage was in crisis, numerous women flooded her husband's DM, either badmouthing her or outrightly begging to marry him.
Expressing her frustration, she shared:
“This isn’t the first time these ‘strolls’ have made their way into my husband’s DMs with ridiculous messages. You trolled me, I reacted, and now you run to his DM saying you want to drag me? Do you think I’m afraid of being dragged? I’ve endured this for too long and developed a thick skin for it.
I now understand why so many people prefer to keep their marriages private. This online space is toxic, and it’s far from safe.
A few months ago, when false reports circulated about my husband and I breaking up, the sheer number of women who flooded his DM shocked me. Some were badmouthing me, while others boldly offered to marry him, claiming they would be ‘more obedient’ than me. I’ve really seen it all.
Sometimes I feel like hiding his Instagram account or even stopping myself from posting about him. The kind of messages he receives about me—only God can help me deal with it.
If you want to drag me, go ahead. But do not cross the line, because if I decide to make an example out of you, you won’t like it.”
Her response has sparked a wave of reactions online, with some social media users supporting her stance while others continued to criticize her.
