Popular singer, Portable has boldly insisted that one does not necessarily need to be proficient in English in order to obtain a visa, as he shared his personal experience of traveling to the UK and Canada despite not being fluent in the language. According to the music star, his journey to both countries proved that being able to speak English is not a requirement for international travel.
It was noted that last year, Portable had visited Canada for a tour, and the year before, he had traveled to the UK to shoot a music video alongside the British rapper, Skepta. Despite not being a native English speaker, his travels seemed to indicate that language proficiency was not a barrier in his case, given that his trips were successful without significant language hurdles.

In a recent interview with the Echo Room, the singer elaborated on his thoughts, explaining that one doesnโt actually need a visa to travel. He explained how he communicated his wishes at the embassy and answered questions as required during his travels. According to him, his ability to speak English, especially when it came to conversations around collecting money, has served him well.
