The mother of the late Nigerian singer, Abosede Aloba, has raised an alarm over the alleged kidnapping of her son, Adura, by some unknown gunmen. She took to social media, pleading for urgent intervention as she expressed distress over his sudden disappearance.
According to eyewitnesses, Adura was reportedly picked up by unknown gunmen, suspected to be police officers, shortly after leaving the Magistrates’ Court in Ogba, Lagos, on Wednesday afternoon.
Sources claim that Adura was in court earlier that day due to a dispute with Damola Ayinde over a phone he had sold to him. The disagreement escalated into a legal battle that also involved actor Yomi Fabiyi, Damola Ayinde, and others.
However, things took an unexpected turn when Adura was allegedly abducted after leaving the courthouse. Reports state that his mother, Abosede Aloba, was later seen in a vehicle, visibly distressed, lamenting the disappearance of her son while calling for help from Nigerians.
In an emotional outcry, she accused Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo of orchestrating her son’s abduction, alleging that Adura was taken despite being in an unwell state.
Expressing her deep sorrow and frustration, she cried out:
“Please help me, people of God! It’s Yomi Fabiyi. They’ve taken my son, and I don’t know where they’re taking him.”
The desperate plea of Mama Mohbad has since gone viral, drawing the attention of many Nigerians who are demanding justice and immediate action to locate Adura.
In a widely shared video, she further appealed to prominent figures in the country, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Governor Babatunde Fashola, urging them to intervene and ensure the safe return of her son.
