Reality TV star, Beauty Tukura, has finally opened up about her breakup with fellow BBNaija star, Neo Akpofure, shedding light on the reasons behind their split and her decision to keep her future relationships away from the public eye.
It’s worth noting that the duo was once considered one of the most enviable couples in the entertainment industry, frequently showcasing their love through affectionate gestures, romantic photos, and videos that left many fans swooning.
However, things took a different turn in 2024 when breakup rumors began swirling after fans noticed that Beauty and Neo had unfollowed each other on Instagram. The speculation intensified when Neo was noticeably absent from Beauty’s birthday celebration, further fueling assumptions that their relationship had come to an end.
In a recent episode of ‘Toke Moments,’ a talk show hosted by media personality Toke Makinwa, Beauty Tukura opened up about her past relationship with Neo Akpofure. She described their romance as being on the same level as that of internationally renowned couple Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, suggesting that their love was high-profile and widely recognized.
While reflecting on their time together, Beauty admitted that although the relationship was intense and passionate, she has chosen to approach dating differently moving forward. She explained that she no longer wants to deal with the pressure, scrutiny, and backlash that come with a public romance, which is why she intends to keep her future relationships private.
The reality TV star went on to emphasize that she is currently not focused on relationships, stating that the next time she shares a man publicly, it will be because he is her husband. She firmly expressed her desire to maintain a private love life moving forward.
“At this point, I’m still waiting for my husband. Any man I’m posting next is going to be my husband,” she stated confidently.
