Veteran Nigerian comedian Alibaba has opened up about some jaw-dropping personal experiences involving the wives of his friends found in highly compromising circumstances with powerful men and politicians. The respected entertainer made these revelations during a candid conversation on the βOutside the Boxβ podcast, where he pulled no punches while discussing the hidden dynamics of trust, betrayal, and discretion within elite social circles.
Β ΒDuring the interview, Alibaba, known for his decades-long career in comedy and media, explained that his access to the inner rooms of Nigeriaβs political and high society has come with shocking discoveries. He disclosed that he has walked into the homes of prominent individualsβespecially politiciansβonly to be startled by the presence of women he personally recognized as the wives of men he also knew.

Β ΒβI have been to the houses of a lot of big men, politicians, and I have seen wives of people I know coming to do things I cannot talk about,β he revealed. βI will greet and these guys will do their philandering, tap her butt and say βgo back inside, I am not finished with you.ββ
Β ΒIn one particularly uncomfortable episode, he recalled attending an event in Lagos where a man introduced his wife, only for Alibaba to realize she was the same woman he had seen in a compromising situation years prior. Despite the shock, he remained cordial, simply saying, βHow are you, madam? I have not seen you in nearly five years. Good to see you,β while concealing the truth.
Β ΒThe comedian also mentioned that some of these women have later approached him privately to thank him for keeping their secrets, acknowledging his discretion. βSome of them will come back later and say, βThank you so much for not saying anything.β I donβt get involved,β he added.
